Ghosting is a phenomenon where contributors are not contributing to the codebase. This can happen for various reasons, such as lack of motivation, burnout, or personal issues. By identifying ghosting contributorstors, you can take action to re-engage them and improve team productivity.

To access it go to Health -> Ghost Engineering.

Hovering above the Alert message will show the percentage of contributors in the report for the time-frame selected.

The first step is to select the project from the top left and the teams that you want to view from the right.

You can view up to 12 months of historical data in the report.

There are 3 filters that can be used for different views, depending on your goals and internal processes:

  • No Commits Activity
  • No Pull Request activity
  • No Ticket activity

Hovering above each Team will show the teams the contributor is assigned to.

The report can be downloaded as a CSV by clicking on the Export CSV button.
