You can create teams based on active contributors from Git. You can set the parameters for what a team looks like
Can you explain how Waydev's system determines the first commit in a user branch and how the numbers are calculated?
Waydev identifies the first commit in a user branch based on the local time when you push the changes. Even if the changes are not yet pushed to the server, we capture the local time, which helps determine when the first commit was made.
How does Waydev's system integrate with our commit and release process?
Waydev can exclude specific commits or those based on specific criteria from cycle time metrics. Mark past commits as outliers, and set Waydev to ignore future commits using a message or regular expression for accurate metrics.
Can we only use the metrics off the shelf or out of the box?
If you want to be completely hands-off and work with the metrics we give you, that’s one avenue you can take. However, here at Waydev, we believe each organization has unique goals and methods. So, what works for one org might not work for another. This is why we give you the freedom to import data and create custom metrics if you are not satisfied with what you’re seeing out of the box.
Can you set a threshold for metrics and set alerts or notification mechanisms based on those metrics?
Yes. We integrate with Slack so you can set the parameters on notifications there. You can also set parameters for email notifications as well. In terms of performance metrics, you can set targets within the platform based on the team’s performance average in the past 12 months.
