Interpretation

  • Low Values (e.g., 0-20% of total PRs) - high-quality initial submissions, good understanding of requirements and coding standards. May indicate rushed reviews or insufficient feedback. Verify review thoroughness and feedback quality.
  • Medium Values (e.g., 20-50% of total PRs) - normal range for most development teams, indicates balanced review process with constructive feedback. Shows active engagement in code improvement. Monitor for consistency and trends.
  • High Values (e.g., > 50% of total PRs) - many PRs require multiple revisions. Potential Issues: insufficient upfront planning, poor communication of requirements, inconsistent coding standards, inexperienced developers or unclear review guidelines.
