Unlinked Tickets

Unlinked Tickets is a count metric that measures the number of tickets that have no associated Git activity (commits or pull requests) in the project management system.

Where to find it

  • Delivery > Sprints Commitment
  • Health > Team Management > Add new metric

Interpretation

  • High Unlinked Ticket count suggests process gaps (work completed without proper Git integration, missing commit message conventions, incomplete development workflows), quality issues (code changes not properly tracked, difficulty in code review processes, reduced audit trail capabilities), organizational problems (developers not following best practices, missing tool integration, poor training on traceability).
  • Low Unlinked Ticket count indicates good traceability, good development practices & process discipline.
