Untraceable Pull Requests

Represents the number of pull requests that are not linked to tickets or issues in the project management system. These metrics show if work is properly tracked and documented.

Where to find it

  • Health > Team Management > Add new metric
  • Health > Benchmark > Add new metric

Interpretation

  • High number of traceable PRs (low number of untraceable PRs) indicates good project management practices, shows most work is properly planned and tracked, suggests the team follows ticket-based workflows, good for audit trails and project visibility.
  • Low number of traceable PRs (high number of untraceable PRs) is concernable and may indicate ad-hoc development without planning, could suggest the team isn't following proper processes, might mean work is being done outside planned scope, could impact project tracking and management.
